The American giant General Motors changed its logo for the first time in 57 years. From now on, the abbreviation GM in the corporate badge is written in lowercase. The label itself is rounded, and the underscore remains just under the “m” symbol by adding a plug shape.

The General Motors press service gives another interpretation of the design of the new logo: the design of the letter "m" with a horizontal stripe symbolizes the Ultium technology. The company hopes the both Ultium battery packs and the Ultium Drive power engine will become the main know-how of the future electric cars of General Motors.
